8-week Mindfulness Courses (MBCT)

Mindfulness is growing in popularity in the UK now and for good reason. There is much evidence to support the fact that practicing Mindfulness can reduce the stress and anxiety and help prevent depression. In short it can help us to lead calmer, happier and more self-aware lives.

This course is for people who are ready to make a commitment to living a more Mindful life and to develop the tools and techniques and strategies to support this commitment. It is for you if you are wanting to establish a meditation practice as well as deepen your self-awareness and find new ways of working with stress, anxiety, low mood and overwhelm. The course is made up of a mixture of group exercises and guided meditation practices. Also group discussion and private reflections/journal keeping.

Each course has a maximum of 8 participants on it. There are eight weekly sessions lasting 2 hours each. Written handouts will be provided each week as well the guided meditation practices you will be using. To help you get the most out of the course there is an invitation for you to practice guided meditation at home throughout the course for up to an hour a day on 6 out of 7 days of every week.

I have courses running currently but will soon be opening my booking system for courses to begin in October in Derby. One course will run on Saturday mornings 10.30 -12.30 and another will run on Thursday mornings 11.00 - 13.00. You can book these via my online booking system but as I do need to talk to every potential participant on the phone prior to taking a booking I would invite you to get in touch so we can arrange to chat.  In the meantime you could attend and Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop on 7th July or 15th September or come along to a Meditation Class (also available online).

The investment for an 8-week Course is £225.00 with an earlybird offer of £197.00 which will expire on Saturday 22nd September. Some reduction and/or payment by installment options are available though if you would struggle to pay the full amount but are very keen to do the course.

I also offer 8-week Mindfulness Courses on a 1-2-1 so this may be a good option if you are struggling to make the times that my group classes run or just prefer 1-2-1 (8 x 60-minute sessions with home practice to be done between sessions) . You can do this with me via Skype for £240.00 or face to face for £497.00.
